3 Ways To Win The Holiday Season At Your Food Truck

The holiday season is right around the corner. In fact, it might have already started in many places in the form of lights, music and holiday products in the stores.

As a food truck owner, it would be in your best interest to follow that trend, for it is a great way to gain more customers, and spice up the environment in the form of cheerful times with cheerful people.

How can you win the holiday season at your food truck?

Well, you could start by incorporating the three ingredients below.

3 Ways To Win The Holiday Season At Your Food Truck

3.) Decorate Your Food Truck — And Add Some Music

Nothing screams having the holiday spirit more than decorations and holiday music. Luckily for you, you can incorporate both things at your food truck.

You don’t have to go all out with the decorations, but some lights here and there, or just some holiday decorations you buy at the store, could go a long way. After all, many of your customers are going to be in the holiday spirit as well, especially when they see your food truck all decked out.

Music is just a no-brainer.

Music has a special power to it, for it can turn a bad mood into a happy mood with a simple play of a song. Holiday music can make your food truck a winter wonderland, if you will. Plus, not only can it give off a holiday vibe, which many customers will love, but it could get you and your employees in the spirit as well — and what’s not to love about that?

2.) Have Seasonal Treats

Everyone loves a good seasonal treat, whether it’s a dessert, a type of coffee drink or whatever it might be.

Now, not everyone’s holiday treat is going to be the same, and we’ll give you two reasons why: (1) Everyone’s food truck concept is going to be different, and it’s important to match these seasonal treats as best as you can with said food truck concept. (2) As the chef, you are naturally going to add your own unique twist.

If you really want to go all out, then you could make some form of turkey dinner meal during this time of the year (even if it is just a weekly/monthly dish). Spoiler alert: Thanksgiving-like sandwiches are all the rage nowadays.

Seasonal treats are just a great way to attract some customers, to add something new to the menu and to get into the holiday spirit, and they can help you win the holiday season.

1.) Give Shoppers Some Form Of Deal

Shoppers love deals, especially during this time of the year, but this you already know.

Now, your holiday deals don’t have to be outrageous. Just see what you can afford to offer, and what you are willing to offer.

As an idea, you could always offer early risers a special in the form of a free beverage, two-for-one beverages or $1 off of beverages. This deal could literally be anything you want, and it can also relate to your menu however you would like it to.

The point of this step: To attract all of the shoppers, because they are certainly going to be out and about, especially on Black Friday, which is on Nov. 24 this year.

There are plenty of ways to win the holiday season at your mobile kitchen. In reality, the choice is yours, but we hope the three ways above are helpful, or can at least get those creative juices flowing. The main thing is that you take advantage in some fashion during this time of the year, even if it just means you and your employees are (naturally, really) more cheerful.

Happy holidays, FoodTruckrs!
