Is It Time To Hire A Manager At Your Food Truck Business?

Editor’s Note: Today we’re excited to present a post from Jeremy Adams. Jeremy is the President/CEO of Prestige Food Trucks, which is the world’s leading custom food truck manufacturer. In his current role as President/CEO, Jeremy manages dozens of employees, interacts with clients, and maintains a healthy relationship with all of his business partners. Since Prestige, Jeremy has launched many other successful companies.

There comes a time and place when a business owner is ready to hire a manager at his/her startup, and the food truck industry is no exception.

With that in mind, we want you to ponder this question: Is it time to hire a manager for your food truck business?

Sign up to receive the FoodTruckr Newsletter and we’ll throw in our free guide: 6 Free Social Media Tools to Get People Talking About Your Food Truck.

That question ultimately comes down to what you want your day-to-day life to be at your food truck and also if you’re wanting to open multiple food truck businesses.

After all, if you want to be less hands-on with your business, then a manager likely needs to make an appearance because this person will take over the daily operations. If you’re wanting to open another mobile kitchen, then you won’t be able to be in two places at once, so you will, of course, have to hire at least one manager for the second truck while you manage the first one (or vice versa).

Looking to take your food truck business to the next level? If so, then The Food Truck Growth Kit has your name written all over it!

This question will come up in many different scenarios. For example, you might finally have the money to pay for a food truck manager and also think this is the next logical step. You might also be burned out and want to have someone come in and take over for you. You might simply need a reliable manager/employee to come in and help you with catering gigs, food truck events, weekly locations and things of that nature because business is booming. You might even want to focus on other projects at your business while a manager takes over.

If your business is growing and you’re also at the point where you’re working more hours than you want to work, then a manager could be the solution.
