Everyone’s goal-making process is different. Likewise, everyone holds themselves accountable to their goals in different ways.
Some people have to tell their loved ones about their goals and then have said loved ones hold them accountable in the process, while others just stick to the plan and achieve the goals — no questions asked.
Everyone is different.
Nonetheless, below food truck owners will find three ways to hold themselves accountable to their goals in 2018.
3.) Write Down Your Goals And Place Them In A Common Area
The reason why this strategy could work for you: If your goals are in a common area, such as on the fridge or mirror in the bathroom, then you will always see your goals, and it will be hard to escape them as a result.
So many people make these awesome goals around the start of a new year … but then they forget about them shortly after because … well, life happens, and the goals get put on the back burner. If you are constantly reminding yourself of these goals by having them around on a piece of paper, then you might not lose sight of the big picture.

2.) Reschedule Your Life Around Your Goals
If you want to make your goals come true, and especially if you have lofty goals (which we love!), then you have to make a plan for them. After all, you can’t just say you want to make more money in 2018 — that is not good enough. You need to come up with an actual number, a deadline and a plan.
With that said, if you actually incorporate your goals into your schedule, then it will be tough to say you don’t have time for them, or that you will work on your goals at a more convenient time. By adding them to your schedule, you are making time for them, and you should treat this time as you would any other priority.
The key with this step is becoming a goal-oriented person. Make your life more about your goals, and do things that are going to get you closer to your goals. For example, instead of watching TV for three hours at night (remember, this is just an example, because so many food truck owners don’t have the luxury of watching TV for three hours at night), learn more about business, or something in general that is going to get you closer to your goals and dreams.
If you really want to make something happen bad enough, then you will. Instead of going out on Friday and Saturday night, you will spend one of those nights (or both) working on your goals.
If you want to change your life for the better, then you have to start making changes to your daily schedule.

1.) Always Remember The Feeling That Is Not Achieving Your Goals
We have all been there before, and we all know the terrible feeling that is not achieving a goal. If you’re coming off of a bad year in the form of not achieving any success, or simply not achieving some of your goals, then just remember that feeling in 2018.
Remember that feeling when you come home from your food truck and actually have free time, yet want to spend it relaxing. Remember that feeling when you get complacent. Remember that feeling when you are at a catering gig and have the opportunity to make great connections and impress with your food. Remember that feeling during all of 2018.
Not achieving your goals is a terrible feeling, so be ready to go the extra mile in 2018, and be ready to put in the work — you can become a major success and achieve all of your dreams if you really want to.
Hold yourself accountable to your goals in 2018.
