Thanks to live streaming, food truck owners can show off their trucks and kitchens during the present moment. This is important because it results in a food truck’s following feeling like it is right there with the food truck … in the present moment. The customers feel like they are part of the scene, or that is at least the idea. This is the perfect way to make your food truck community feel like it is, well, a community.

Here’s the thing. People love food. Not only do they like to eat it, but they also like to watch it being made. There’s a reason why the Food Network came into existence, after all. There’s also a reason why food recipe videos have taken over social media platforms like Facebook — because people are all about their food.

It’s cheap, it’s easy to do, it’s fun, and food truck owners should be incorporating it into their social media strategies.
