3 Simple Ways To Make Your Food Truck Customers Happy

There are many different ways to make your food truck customers happy. With that said, you, more likely than not, aren’t going to make every single customer you serve happy.

That’s not a knock on you … it’s just life, the way it works.

You are going to deal with customers who are already in terrible moods the moment they enter your food truck lines. You’ll also serve customers who are unhappy with their meals, no matter how good they are, but this you already know.

However, we are about to feature three simple ways to make your food truck customers happy, and they can be found below.

3 Simple Ways To Make Your Food Truck Customers Happy

3.) Treat Every Meal Like Royalty

What do we mean by this? It’s pretty simple. Treat every meal like it’s the most important meal you will ever cook. Cook with passion, cook with love.

Lines get packed and the daily grind can get in the way, but you entered this industry to do the thing you love most, which is cook food, so do just that. We understand you are going to be rushed from time to time, and some of your customers might get antsy if they are waiting for a long period of time on their food, but do your best to make the best meal you can possibly make.

Too many companies make sacrifices when it comes to their product, and they eventually lose customers (and sometimes credibility) as a result. Taking shortcuts is okay in any industry, but you should never take shortcuts when it comes to the quality of your product.

If your food is always all-star worthy, if you will, then customers will always come back for more. In a nutshell, they will love their food, and they will be happy as a result.

2.) Do More Than Take A Customer’s Order

Once again, we understand how busy things can get, which means you can’t socialize with every single customer, especially if your line is flooding with people, but you should still try to make an effort to interact with your customers.

Simply put, don’t just take their orders. Ask them how their days are going, give them suggestions for a meal or whatever it might be.

Quality customer service is one of the most important things for your business, and it all starts with taking a customer’s order.

1.) The Two L’s: Listen And Learn

You can do a lot of things right at your food truck business, but if you don’t listen to your customers (and learn), then everything you did right might not be good enough.

Once again, you are not going to make every single customer happy; however, you need to keep in mind that without your customers … you would go out of business, no matter how good your food is. After all, your customers are the ones who you sell your product to.

Therefore, make sure to listen to your customers, whether it’s an angry customer, a happy suggestion or whatever it might be. While you don’t have to take every single request into account — because you are the business owner, and you have a good idea of what your business does and doesn’t need — you should still learn from these requests. You don’t have to make change after change, but you do need to adapt wherever you see fit.

Listen and learn, and then make your food truck business that much better in the process.

There are many different ways to make your customers happy, and every food truck owner’s situation is going to be different. Whether the case, we hope the three strategies above can help you achieve the goal that is making your customers happy.
