This might sound crazy since it is only January, but spring is right around the corner. Now, that does not mean food truck entrepreneurs should panic. That just means they should start preparing for spring. After all, once spring is here, the busy season will be just around the corner, and then things will really start to get fun in this industry.

If you tend to take the foot off the gas pedal when it comes to posting on social media during the offseason, then now is the time to put that foot right back down on it. Now is the time to start posting more frequently, and more in general.
Just to kick things up a notch or two, you can also start doing giveaways and/or a countdown. Now is the time to engage with your customers in hopes of luring them in once you open up shop once again. Side note: Whether you stay open during the offseason or not, it’s still important to create some excitement for spring, and to get your customers excited about your amazing food.

Maybe you plan on going with the same menu(s) that you used last year. Perhaps you want to start from scratch and create a new menu altogether.
Whether the case, now is the time to prepare that bad boy. Just remember, your menu needs to be delicious and informative at the same time. In other words, you need to describe your products (your food) in a descriptive/informative manner so a ton of questions don’t remain, but you also need to make each menu item sound like the best food of all time. It’s an art, really.
If you want to get creative by trying some new menu items or put your own twist on a tending food item, then great — prepare now!
