That does hold a lot of truth to it, because you are probably going to learn something new every day, but you have to prepare yourself from a business standpoint if you want to see some success in this industry.

Do you know how to run a business? Do you know how to manage employees? Do you know how to talk to vendors? Customers?

These are just basics when it comes to running your food truck business. Of course, the business aspect of things is going to come into play on Day 1 — you know, when you have to sit down and write your business plan, and this business plan is going to map out your entire process, and do you wonders.

Read books and articles. Travel to conferences and food truck events. Ask fellow food truck owners, business owners and restaurant owners questions. Do your research now, because when you do become a food truck owner, not only is this research going to help you out in a big way … but you are going to be very busy, and you will wish you had done the research when you had more free time.
