Figuring Out What You Really Want, Not Something That Just Sounds Good On Paper

The first step in the goal-making process? Creating your goals, of course. The ultimate key here is to make your goals. Not someone else’s, and not just something that sounds good on paper, or will make others around you happy.

These are your goals, and you are the one who has to follow them every single day. Here’s the biggest thing: If you are not passionate about your goals, then you won’t spend too much time on them. If they are important enough to you, and if all you can think about is making them come true, then you will put in the time to change them from fantasy to reality.

What do you really want in life, food truck entrepreneurs? Do you wantEntrepreneurs to get to the point where you have two food trucks? Five food trucks? Do you want to get to the point where you can open up a sit-down restaurant on top of your food truck business? The choice is yours. Making A Very Detailed Plan, And Then Attaching Some Form Of Deadline

Now that you have really brainstormed and thought about what you want, where you want your life to go, it’s time to get serious about your goals by making a very detailed plan.

If you don’t make a plan for your goals, and if you don’t actually add them to your schedule, then you will only work on them when the time is right. You might think you will work on your goals when you have more time, or when your food truck is more established, but the time will never be right. If you don’t force your goals into your life, then you will never become as successful as you could be, and that’s a real shame.

Once you have actually added steps to achieve your goals and also added these steps to your daily schedule, it’s time to attach some form of deadline. This is how you separate your goals from your dreams.

Add a deadline to your goals (a specific date would be the best idea), and then hold yourself accountable to this deadline. Always make sure you are on the right track when it comes to meeting this deadline. If you hold yourself accountable to this deadline, then you will actually meet your intended goal on that given day, and that alone should keep you motivated.
